The extension of the Russian prodmbargo officially entered into force

On August 6, 2016, the Russian food embargo entered into force in relation to a number of countries, which, according to government Decree No. 608 of June 30, 2016, will continue to operate until December 31, 2017, reports RNS .

The decision states that the extension concerns the ban on the import of a number of types of agricultural products, raw materials and food production, the European Union, Australia, Canada, Ukraine, Albania, Norway, Iceland, Montenegro and Liechtenstein.

We will remind, earlier in the Rosselkhoznadzor it was clarified that over the year of the Russian prodmbarbox, the authorities of the department destroyed more than 7.5 thousand tons of various products (about 7.282 thousand tons of vegetables and fruits and less than 300 tons of animal products) imported into the country.
