Plotnitsky conducted an emergency operation

The head of the self -proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic Igor Plotnitsky, who suffered as a result of the assassination, carried out an emergency operation, Interfax reports with reference to a source in the hospital.

The operation was successful, the source said. Currently, Igor Plotnitsky has been transferred to the intensive care unit. “According to the results of the diagnosis, it was found that the Plotnitsky mine-scope wounds, including liver and spleen,” the source noted.

Earlier, Lugansk doctors announced the lack of a threat to the life of the head of the LPR. It was also reported that in addition to Plotnitsky, during the explosion in Lugansk on the morning of August 6, several more people were injured. They, as clarified in the People’s Police of the LPR, were taken to the hospital.

The attempt on Igor Plotnitsky was made on the morning of August 6 in Lugansk. On one of the streets, the LPR leader, in which he was with guard and driver, was blown up by the laid out of the landmine. The LPR law enforcement agencies have already stated that the Ukrainian sabotage group is behind the attempt.
