The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine called the president of the country Petro Poroshenko to interrogate in the case of crimes of the Viktor Yanukovych regime against Euromaidan activists in January - February 2014. This is reported by "Ukrainian News."

Poroshenko passes a witness in the case. The interrogation is supposed to be carried out in August; Its exact date is not indicated.

According to Ukrainian Pravda, the agenda for interrogation was also sent to the mayor of Kiev Vitaly Klitschko, who during the Euromaidan was one of the leaders of the protests.

In addition, the publication reports, ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, another leader of protests against Yanukovych, and secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexander Turchinov are also called for interrogations.

Interrogations Klitschko, Yatsenyuk and Turchinov should also be held in August, writes Ukrainian Pravda.

Meanwhile, earlier on Monday, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko said that Yatsenyuk, Turchinov and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov were already interrogated in the department. The official, however, did not explain what exactly the interrogations were carried out on.

After the appointment of Lutsenko in May of this year, the post of Prosecutor General’s post was reported in the investigation of the case of crimes against the Maidanites.
