FSB officers recorded not only telephone conversations of the suspects, but also personal meetings, the publication clarifies. During them, representatives of the leadership of the Investigative Committee discussed that in order to resolve the issue it was necessary to transfer the money “to the Central Administrative District”, mentioned the name Shakro and the surname Kramarenko, and also clarified that a certain Dima was supposed to transfer the money. At the same time, the interlocutors named the amounts - 200 and 500.

According to an RBC source who confirmed the results of the wiretaps, we may be talking about the transfer of thousands of dollars that investigators planned to pay to the employees of the Investigative Committee’s department for the Central Administrative District of Moscow and its head Alexei Kramarenko.

The FSB considers “Dima” to be the head of the Zaslon private security company, Dmitry Zvontsev, who, according to investigators, acted as an accomplice in the negotiations from the criminal authority Zakhary Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy). The latter was allegedly ready to hand over impressive sums for the release of his comrades Andrei Kochuykov (Italian) and Eduard Romanov.

According to RBC interlocutors familiar with the investigation, the key role in the release of Kochuykov and Romanov was played by Maksimenko, a senior employee of the central office of the Investigative Committee.

Maksimenko is one of the most influential employees of the Investigative Committee, claimed an RBC interlocutor close to the leadership of the FSB. Forbes previously called him the right hand of the chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin.
