Cat duo

In honor of International Cat Day (August 8), the staff of the House of Officers of the Trans-Baikal Territory congratulated lovers of these animals on the holiday with a comic vocal play “Cat Duet” performed by the soloists of the Ensemble of the House of Officers Valentina Bragina and Alexandra Kuznetsova.

The Cat Duet is a real play attributed to the composer Gioachino Rossini, but it is actually a compilation of three parts - the Cat's Cavatina by the Danish composer Christoph Weisse and two fragments from Rossini's Othello.

At different times, the comic duet was performed by the best opera performers in the world.
