The author of the film about the Tver police of the Cossacks received 10 months of employees

The deputy chairman of the Proletarian District Court of Tver Mikhail Bobrov sentenced the author of the film about the local police Shamil Kazakov to 10 months of service. The lawyer of the convicted person Svetlana Sidorkina reported this to the Franes. The political prisoner was released from custody in the courtroom.

At the same time, Kazakov will not have to be carried out, because taking into account the time spent by the convicts under house arrest and in jail, they are considered departed.

Bobrov declared Kazakov guilty under Article 319 of the Criminal Code (insulting a representative of the authorities). At the same time, he justified the defendant under part 1 of article 282 (the excitement of hatred of the social group "Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tver region").

During the trial, Sidorkin indicated that the 282nd article cannot be imputed by her principal, since the police do not form a social group. For its part, the Associate Professor of the University of Nizhny Novgorod Elizaveta Koltunov, attracted by the defense as an expert, noted that the conclusions of the study underlying the accusations "are not always scientifically based."

In the debate of the parties that took place on August 5, the prosecutor demanded two years a colony-settlement for Kazakov . At a meeting on Thursday, Bobrov at the request of the prosecutor resumed a judicial investigation, after which additional debate took place. In them, the prosecutor confirmed the previously requested term.

Sidorkina, for her part, insisted on fully justification of her principal.

Kazakov intends to appeal the verdict. He also stated that he still wants to work in the police.

From childhood, the ethnic Tatar of Kazakov dreamed of working in law enforcement agencies. He graduated with a red diploma of a law university. In November 2014, Kazakov submitted documents to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Tver for the construction of the district police officers. He went through the necessary tests twice, as a result of which he was recognized as suitable for work in the police. However, in mid-2015, he was refused employment on the grounds that he is a Tatar and Muslim.

In February, Kazakov published on the Internet a video with images of the personnel police personnel, to whose faces he put the body in Nazi, including the SS form by means of photomontage. The plot also included sarcastic comments at the address of the head of the department for work with the personnel of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs Alexander Teslenko. It was he who passed the victims according to the 319th article of the Criminal Code.

The case under this article against Kazakov was opened on March 29 . On May 21, he was also charged with the 282nd article, after which he was sent under house arrest. It was emphasized that the reason for the pursuit of Kazakov was not the fact of the publication of the film, but "extremist and offensive comments" allegedly contained in it.

Preliminary hearings in the case were held on June 24, and the trial on the merits began next month. On July 22, Bobrov, at the request of the prosecutor , sent Kazakov to a pre -trial detention center . In support of his petition, the prosecutor, in particular, indicated that the unknown person repeatedly published on YouTube another film by Kazakov, previously remote from the network.
