In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a criminal investigation has been completed against a 41-year-old colony employee who shot his guest, whom he suspected of theft. This was reported on the website of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the region.
According to investigators, in Dzerzhinsk on the evening of May 15, 2016, his acquaintances were visiting an IK-9 employee.
“After drinking alcohol together, the owner filed a complaint against one of the guests, accusing him of stealing a car recorder. After that, the attacker took an MP-79-9TM traumatic pistol from the safe and shot the 40-year-old victim first in the leg and then in the head,” the department’s press release says.
The guest died from his injuries on the same day in a city hospital. The colony employee was then detained and taken into custody. He fully admitted his guilt. As noted in the report of the investigative department, he was fired from the colony.
