The Investigative Committee of Russia announced the launch of a new educational program for children, "Young Investigator," in Artek. It was prepared by employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia and the Academy under the Investigative Committee of Russia. The goal of the program is to generate interest in children in studying the work of an investigator and a forensic investigator, as well as to raise the level of legal education and legal culture of the younger generation.

The task of popularizing the profession of an investigator and organizing career guidance for children and teenagers was set before the Investigative Committee by its head Alexander Bastrykin. The press service of the committee notes that there are no "standard programs for training young investigators that meet modern requirements" in the country, although the need for such programs is difficult to overestimate.

The program was opened by Vladimir Markin, a representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, who spoke about the course and answered questions from Artek children. The children were shown an educational film about the work of investigators and operational officers at the scene of an incident. At the end of the ceremony, Artek children, students of the cadet classes of the Investigative Committee, students of the Academy, employees of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Crimea and counselors performed the song "Rodina".

In the future, the program participants will be told about the history of preliminary investigation in Russia, the basics of cryptography and encryption methods, they will practice drawing up photofits using the appropriate computer programs, and will clearly see the capabilities of a mobile forensic laboratory. The plans include physical training, training in the basics of self-defense, and participation in the route game "Young Pathfinder".
