Putin changed the head of the presidential administration

Vladimir Putin, by his decree, freed Sergey Ivanov from the post of head of the presidential administration. This is stated in the message posted on the Kremlin website. By another decree, Ivanov was appointed special representative of the President on environmental protection, ecology and transport.

As RIA Novosti supplements , Putin noted that he was pleased with Ivanov’s work. According to the president, Ivanov himself asked to transfer him to another job.

"With understanding, I relate to your desire to go to another part of the work. I really expect that you and in a new place are using all your knowledge, experience for effective work," the president said.

The presidential administration will be headed by Anton Vaino, who previously held the post of deputy head of the administration. Putin noted that Ivanov himself recommended his candidacy.

According to Vaino, at his post he intends to continue the anti -corruption work that his predecessor began. Also, the new head of the presidential administration promised to cooperate with the government.

Anton Vaino also became part of the Security Council. Putin also included in the Security Council of his plenipotentiary in the Siberian Federal District Sergey Avayylo, a plenipotentiary in the North-West District of Nikolai Tsukanov and Deputy Secretary of the Council of People's Commissars of Rashid Nurgaliev.

Sergei Ivanov graduated from the Translation Department of the Philology Faculty of Leningrad State University, then the highest courses of the KGB of the USSR in Minsk.
