The military prosecutor's office of the Bryansk garrison refused to the Yekaterinburg activist in the request to respond to the incident that happened to him when he returned to Russia through Kyiv from Severodonetsk, where he participated in the work of the Ukraine’s volunteer camp. The document of the military prosecutor’s office says that “verification of documents and an oral survey are one of the methods of control during passing across the state border” and that “an oral survey of individuals is carried out in order to clarify the circumstances of the intersection of the state border, to receive information in relation to crossing (crossing) persons and for other purposes.”

In addition, the military prosecutor’s office indicated that Izotov at the passport control presented “a document that for a number of reasons caused subjective doubts about its authenticity”, which became the reason for the “special verification”.

FSB officers who paid special attention to Isotov, in addition to the goals of the trip, asked who he lives with and where he works. When he mentioned the 51st article of the Constitution, they began to threaten him that they would be detained for 48 hours, tear out a page from a foreign passport, lead a criminal case, plant some “serious people” against him. But then they still released, and he managed to get to Moscow by bus, on which he was driving before.
