Tamara Lyalenkova : Why don't Russians know how to study? Is training a process or an event? How to measure your own effectiveness? We discuss the difficulties of continuous education with the Director General of the Elearning Center Elena Tikhomirova , co-founder of the Zillion online Academy Artem Polyansky and business trainer Alexander Shumilin .
We have known Elena Tikhomirova for a long time. It was at the dawn of Elearning. I remember there was a large conference where representatives of universities came. They were somehow interested. But then it was about the fact that legislatively this form into state universities is quite difficult to embed. This did not take root, did not go to school as it was conceived then, I mean higher school.
Elena Tikhomirova : It took root. A lot of people who want to do this. There are a lot of pioneers, volunteers and other other people who say that this is right. Because it gives unique opportunities for people who, for example, cannot be physically present somewhere. Unfortunately, by law, what began from the very beginning ...
Tamara Lyalenkova : It was 6-7 years ago.
Elena Tikhomirova : much more. In fact, issues with the legislation appeared a very long time. Actually, as there were difficulties, many of them remained.
Tamara Lyalenkova : They talked a lot about the fact that education for adults could support Russian universities so that they could earn a lot and money. When it develops independently and freely, you can look at demand, at some trends.
Artem, online Academy, how is it arranged? Is it aimed at some kind of working things, personal?
Artem Polyansky : In fact, we are pioneers of such online learning for adults. We started with some professional skills, focused on the segment of the population. But now a completely new format of training is launched, first of all, of course, personal growth. And he is just associated with continuous training throughout life. The program is called "Amekro". It passes 7 steps. And in these 7 steps there is personal growth, and some professional skills, and English, and the legal field. To everything, we are now introducing a new approach, when a person may also have a mentor in online format. You choose a person with whom you can, as it were, constantly communicate. It will form an individual development path.
Tamara Lyalenkova : This is very interesting. Because there were such assumptions that at some point everything would become electronic, remote. And this live communication will be lost. You found that this is still necessary, is there a need?
Artem Polyansky : Yes, there is a need for this. I also deal with the center for increasing financial literacy. I look a lot just at the projects that are in the West. Several years ago, robotic investment advisers, personal finance, etc. were very popular. Now the trend of the last year has begun to appear platforms with personal personal advisers. Now there are even very segmented projects. For example, financial advisers for housewives. At any moment, the housewife can call her consultant, and he will tell her what to do at the moment. There is communication between people. And she is so closed with support, of course, with the entire IT infrastructure.
Tamara Lyalenkova : Alexander, which formats are it convenient for you to work if you work? What is a business coach? Is this related to finances?
Alexander Shumilin : I, unlike my colleagues, are less awarded theoretically. Basically, all the topics with which I work, I pass through myself. Because this is one of the incentives for my development. This is what drives me.
Tamara Lyalenkova : You make an ideal scheme. Because it is believed that you will find out at first, then you teach it, and then the next beautiful thing when you start teaching this. This is just a complete cycle of assimilation of some knowledge.
Alexander Shumilin : In fact - yes. Most of my professional life, and business coaching was my hobby, I have a different basic job.
Tamara Lyalenkova : And who comes to you as a business sportsman?
Alexander Shumilin : There are some open programs. Absolutely unfamiliar people gather there. Sometimes, due to the fact that you have to communicate with corporate customers, some corporate interests come.
Tamara Lyalenkova : Lena, it sounds everywhere that this is live learning then, as we understand that electronic training. Explain this bunch.
Elena Tikhomirova : In principle, no electronic training. A person, firstly, cannot learn in isolation. This is impossible from the point of view of neurophysiology. Maybe, but it is quite complicated. There is such a phenomenon that a person, when he studies, he often thinks about others at that moment. When I read some book, if it is for my soul, I mean professional, I try to figure out who I could tell or sell this idea. This is a feature of how a person assimilates information. Training in any case should be as alive as possible. Good electronic training should be a multi -compounding one, that is, multimedia not only in text format, video, audio, namely media. And this is very important. Because for the training of an adult, it is incredibly important to answer the question - did I understand correctly? Why is this happening? Because a person began to think. This is five to the coach, because the process of thinking has gone. A man began to use himself. Can I use it? Where can I? And here this question arises. In ordinary electronic training, this issue has nowhere to ask. A person has a course. He looked him and stayed with this question forever. Here, liveliness in combination is important so that this question can be asked. Necessarily needs communication, no matter in what format. Without communication, a person does not study.
Tamara Lyalenkova : I also noticed that adults love to play. You have quests on your site, right?
Artem Polyansky : Yes, in fact, the gaming is popular enough trend. Through the game, everything is absorbed much better. In general, we have two types of gamification on our site. The first gaming is laid inside the portal, when absolutely all the user actions are taken into account. The second format is quite new for us. Less than a year ago, we began to draw quests. Moreover, we began to draw quests from books. For example, the book "Volpin" is published. Suppose Nikita Nepryakhin voices this quest about tactics of beliefs. People, passing this quest, also buy an e -book in addition as a bonus. Because in 30 minutes you master some kind of skill. You have various interaction scenarios. You understand that you did wrong, but what is right. The quest tells you this. Brief immersion in one specific skill. It is popular now.
Tamara Lyalenkova : Alexander, there is such a simple thing for adults - literacy, to understand texts.
Alexander Shumilin : Yes, this is an effective reading. But here the segment is business literature, an effective reading of business literature. There are includes understanding skills. We were taught how? I read the book - and now I know that. But nothing has changed in life. Therefore, one of the strongest topics with which we work in effective reading is how to make sure that the request came from the outside - I read this book, and then it returned outside, that is, something has changed and changed exactly where I wanted. Therefore, we start with work with goals. Based on these purposes, we choose what to read. Then, of course, it works with how to read correctly, more efficiently, more efficiently, it is better to remember, and then we return back outside, how to change our life now, make ourselves happier.
Artem Polyansky : The teaching should be constantly in the context.
Alexander Shumilin : Necessarily in context. Because we all live in order to experience some happiness. And all that we do is the tools for achieving this happiness. The biggest problem of mankind, I believe that we somehow have life separately, and work separately.
Elena Tikhomirova : Learning is a process. We very often have many people perceive training as an event and such a complete property. In fact, the story about training throughout life why it is moving and developing, that a person needs a few steps in order to achieve any results. In full -time, for example, in many cases, this is almost impossible for an adult, especially if a person works.
Tamara Lyalenkova : On the other hand, people, one way or another, are really trained all their lives, whether they want it or not. They are forced to do this due to the circumstances that periodically push them.
Elena Tikhomirova : Of course.
Tamara Lyalenkova : This is now somehow formalized using courses such as you are conducting, coaching. Do you understand how this can be produced?
Elena Tikhomirova : This is again about goals. Any person must determine for the next six months some direction of movement. Because from the passage of a frantic number of courses, seminars and everything else is also wrong. It seems to me that the brain from this ceases to be absolutely effective. In the corporate sector, this thing is very well developed about the competence system, about career growth paths, depending on the current level, the desired level is driven where you should go. There are wonderful Western instruments, unfortunately, not Russified, who will test you on the subject of what you know today, ask questions about you to know in 5 years and build a certain trajectory for you.
Artem Polyansky : Yes, now it all fits into such a system. Moreover, such systems can be included in any stage. It all depends on how you have already taken place in life. As you understand your tasks, your goals for personal development, professional development, etc. At the same time, there is still training within the context, when a person is faced with some problem.
In addition to the fact that I am engaged in an online academy, I also have a project just “increasing financial literacy”, the project “Capitralology”. We are preparing private investors. And people, when they are faced with a problem, they have some savings. They keep them on a bank deposit and sit on needles, because it is not clear what is happening with the economy in the country, etc. They are just faced with the problem that they are not very effectively using their savings, which can somehow be approached in a different way. The same with marketing. When a marketer is faced with some task, he needs to attract some kind of traffic to the site, place advertising, which he never did, he has to learn. He needs to get acquainted with the tools. He needs to understand how this tool works. He needs to understand how to measure the effectiveness of this tool, how to integrate it into the overall marketing system at the enterprise, for example. There are different approaches here.
Alexander Shumilin : This is the perfect picture. In fact, people do not want to study. Most, in fact, simply do not know what they want.
Tamara Lyalenkova : Yes, and then they need to go through all this from beginning to end in order to realize.
Artem Polyansky : Or find a coach.
Tamara Lyalenkova : Tell us about the coach.
Artem Polyansky : When I communicate with the client as a coach, I am absolutely neutral and empty in myself. I ask questions to a person, and a person, to answer the question, includes the brain. The coach knows nothing and does not answer for anything. This is a great position. The only thing the coach is responsible for is to ask the next, best correct question that will develop the client. Develop how? The client begins to think. The client begins to analyze. The coach highlights him from different sides, shows his life, his desires where you want, where you do not want, but why do you want that. One of the main, probably, the problems of most people who have not become entrepreneurs, is because as soon as a person begins to share something, the desire to receive feedback and somehow divide this, he immediately hears a huge amount of negativity. Accordingly, the task of the coach is precisely in order not to criticize, but also not to engage in support. And to develop a person, it is his thoughts on this subject, asking him the right questions, reflecting the situation from different sides, etc., including working with his motivation, when he answers himself to the question - why do I do all this.
Tamara Lyalenkova : This is what concerns a particular person. Lena, as I understand it, the Elearning center works mostly with corporations. You offer some individual for each corporation some special projects also do. How do they ask about it? Do they somehow form what they want?
Elena Tikhomirova : From the point of view of how to do it correctly, there is such a thing called "pedagogical design". There, long ago, all the steps that need to be done like us were written in order to understand what the customer or client wants-no matter who it is, in order for the output to get a cool product. There is a set of certain questions, a large questionnaire. First we collect the information, and then we analyze. In this process, one very important detail was not taken into account. In this case, the customer must know the answers to these questions. This is all great as long as the person you communicate with, knows the answers to certain questions. And the difficulty is most often that the goal sounds like this - they must be taught because they do not know. And this goal is very specific, on the one hand. It is impossible to fight against her - to teach, because they do not know. And the main problem of the intra -corporate training is a very low level, as a rule, of the analysis of tasks. In general, I think that each person should read one book on coaching, regardless of what he is doing in order to understand how to ask the right questions to himself, first of all. And within the company, for example, when the task is set for development, there is no task of shelling by various questions. There is a certain such complexity here.
By the way, this is an interesting question - about adult training. Where does the rejection of learning come from. It comes from the inside of the companies. I have one former client. They had 25 electronic courses per employee per month. One person a month had to take 25 electronic courses. They are small-25-30 minutes. But a person is actually more than a course on a working day. And at the same time, he does not just pass them, but this must be used. And such a negative action takes place in relation to a certain such system of training. There is a very important point here. We must learn to study employees.
Tamara Lyalenkova : This is probably such a big question for education and school, including a significant part of the university education.
Artem Polyansky : To some extent, probably, the way it is. For our corporate clients, we recommend using this approach - training based on data. When you understand your intermediate performance indicators. To do this, you still need to learn how to measure them first, for example, calls on sale. If you see that you are suffering, for example, the conversion of calls in the meeting, then it is advisable for you to go through "cold" calls or phone calls, etc.
Tamara Lyalenkova : "Cold" calls - what is it?
Artem Polyansky : This is when you call the client who does not know anything about you, and offer him some of your own service. There are also special methods for this. You can also learn this too. If you make such measurements inside the company, it becomes clear what skills you need to pull up and your subordinates or employees. For this, there is such a full -fledged interface where you can form yourself topics that you can teach in the future, in the near future. And on the basis of this, then again measure changes from learning.
Tamara Lyalenkova : Let's say about age. Probably, over time, some kind of indifference, fatigue appears. Is there any specificity here?
Artem Polyansky : We periodically carry out online broadcasts that anyone can sign up for. It goes live for 1.5-2 hours. Somehow they received a negative review from a resident of Vladivostok, who complained that we have time not very convenient for his training. "I am 67 years old. Actually, at 3 a.m. I get up to see your broadcasts." This happens too. In fact, I have no answer regarding age. Children are all with gadgets now. They are already constantly teaching.
Tamara Lyalenkova : Children - yes.
Artem Polyansky : The most difficult thing is with more age -related categories, especially with managers who have such a mental feature - like I already know everything.
Tamara Lyalenkova : Are you developing critical thinking?
Artem Polyansky : On the portal?
Tamara Lyalenkova : Yes. Or is it included in other courses?
Artem Polyansky : Critical thinking in our framework are born in the learning process. Since we work with a large number of experts, so many give different views in the course of the course. We will now have a course "Career Marathon", where there will be about 20 experts for three weeks to pump people.
How do they understand this?
And in order for me to be here, I need it, this and that. And I gradually gain it.
This does not happen.
Motivation.
A person cannot be taught. An interesting phenomenon. In fact, she determines absolutely everything about training. Why do you need a test? Then, so that I think. In fact, it doesn’t matter that I will answer.
What is it?
This is the near future.
There are people who, having graduated from the institute, have froze. Their bodies grow, but the brain does not change.
That is why in the life of most people training is separate, and life is separate.
Although in fact, if you teach yourself to study, this is an incredibly pleasant story.
