The Spanish investigation suggests that, in addition to Traber, the criminal group included deputies of the State Duma and officials. However, it is likely that the threads lead to the Kremlin.

- And how did the "team" bet on Putin?

- As far as I remember, when Vladimir Vladimirovich was an official of the city hall, he took bribes, shares, tried not to miss anything around him. Roma Tsopov was brought money from a casino, cash suitcases, which later went upstairs. Miller gathered bribes. Graham Smith in Liechtenstein laundered and accumulated a share from the oil business. But when Sobchak lost the elections and was forced to escape from a criminal case, then Vladimir Vladimirovich became difficult, because no one needed a wandered official. It was not clear why he would pay a share.

- Dima Skigin, my comrade and the Sigma and OSEX company partner, told me that he decided to make a somewhat risky move at that time - to support Vladimir Vladimirovich with the preservation of his share in the already reasonably working oil terminal and the “Council”. There was a simple story with the terminal: one of the port engineers, which initially arranged this terminal in the port, did not extend the lease, but transferred the contract to Skigin and Traber, pushed this and in every possible way helped the formation of the terminal, as Dima said, directly Vladimir Vladimirovich, for which the initially received a share. Accordingly, Dima made such a bet and convinced the partners on the "team" - Traber, Vasiliev and Kumarin that it is not worthwhile to write off Vladimir Vladimirovich at all. Although the situation was multipolar, and it was not clear who would be in power. And Putin, I think, just needed money. I believe that he stole it in the city hall pretty much, but in Moscow other ideas about money. We need a constant source of good income, poor people do not like there, in Moscow this is not accepted. Berezovsky had a wonderful saying on this topic: there was money, there will be money, there is no money. Accordingly, in the 96th Miller, they took as the deputy director of the oil refinery, where another deputy director was the closest Dimin, Assistant Sasha Dyukov, and the general director was a traber. Subsequently, Miller became one of the directors and the authorized representative of the Oakop, another Dyukov was another authorized representative and director, and Ilya Traber, again, headed the Board of Directors of the Oakop. Dima attached Miller as the creature of V.V. precisely as part of the decision that we will support Putin - our man in Moscow - and this will pay off to us. It was, I assure you, a serious decision. Because the situation has changed rapidly, and spending money on a person who can not give anything yet was a risky strategic decision.

After that, there were no attempts by the city authorities to control what was happening in the port, of course. A little later, Dyukov, Miller and Traber migrated from the blast to the leadership of the port. Dyukov became the general director of the port, Miller became the deputy investment, the traber - a member of the board of directors of the port. The port was successfully sold to Muscovites. I think that Vladimir Vladimirovich oversee this as a shareholder and as the head of the FSB, because the St. Petersburg port is a strategic object of public importance.

- That is, this port played a grand role in Russian politics. Maybe if not this port, and the president in Russia would be different?

He had many familiar sources of income with the advent of Yakovlev , and he would not have to rise high. I believe that his close cooperation with a specific “team”, which is knocked beyond the scope of the usual bureaucratic bribery for Russia, was most clearly manifested after Sobchak lost the election: to maintain a share and a constant influx of funds, Putin had to actively benefit this, with the permission to say, the “team”, which included Kumarin, Traber, Vasilyev, Skigin, Skigin Timchenko, Smith, Dyukov and other respected people. The dismissed official of the city hall was supported by a team consisting of criminals and businessmen, and finally joined this team, defending his interests as much as he could in Moscow, because it was necessary to work out a share, and so far, I think, has certain internal obligations to people.

- Including in front of Traber and Vasiliev?

-I believe that Traber and Vasiliev, like other members of the “team”, untouchable because they supported Putin in moments of life difficult and are connected with him in joint activities in the 90s. I think that kumarin is an exception to the rule: he just crossed the line somewhere. There was a common opinion in the team: guys, understand each other as you want, do not hurt Volodya. And there is no need for public shooting and redistribution in the city, this undermines Volodin authority. Here, I think, a lesson at the level of "lads, do not shoot at each other."

The port is a huge asset, the only serious port in the northwest. The main cargo flow of the European part of Russia, including Moscow, goes through St. Petersburg - this is a strategic thing. Naturally, the capture of the port is the seizure of control over the economy of the European part of Russia. I think that Vladimir Vladimirovich large needed money in the game in which he played in Moscow, besides, the sale of the port raised him very much in the eyes of Moscow partners: well done - he supported his team, helped Muscovites, and did not forget himself. For his Moscow partners, this was a confirmation of his legal capacity and fidelity to the Moscow team - our man in St. Petersburg. Only a person from the inside could overcome the resistance and push the sale of the St. Petersburg port from the inside. In St. Petersburg they do not like Moscow and do not let them into their affairs. Volodya helped competently and earned well. And a rich person is easier to engage in politics.

- Yes, but he was not particularly eager for politics, everything happened there almost besides his will.

- Not at first. However, the statue of Peter the Great in the office quietly cherished. By the way, there was a great interview with Putin after the elections. When it turned out that Putin won, he said: "In a nightmare, he could not imagine such a thing." I watched this interview, and just Dima Skigin called, said: we were right. I think that Vladimir Vladimirovich was uncomfortable, at first certainly. Here you need to be a specific person. He loves money, he never differed in publicity. But the authorities are changing people.

- Your friends did not want to go into politics for him?

Professionally honest people in power under Putin did not seek to go

- No, people were smart. Dima quietly moved to Nice and Monaco. If you provide your own life, it is convenient to stand next to the authorities and not take responsibility - to own the oil terminal, participate in the sale of the port, engage in oil products export, receive money and live calmly abroad. Timchenko is a living example of this concept. And to be responsible for the country called Russia and take on everything that is connected with this? No, the servant is humble. Dima did not climb into political Moscow affairs, but moved to the cashier: Nice, Monaco.

- You yourself did not want to go to Moscow either?

- Work at the KGB? Back. This organization cannot be done. Although many quite educated and intelligent acquaintances joyfully took advantage of this chance to "break into people." By the way, professionally honest people did not seek to go to Putin. One good friend of mine dealt with the issues of port infrastructures in Rosmorport, he was called to Moscow for a high position to the ministry in the early 2000s, he said: "In no case, because there are no more political problems in the country, but there are infrastructure and technogenic problems, and they are not solved with this system."

If you milk the cow, you need to take care of it. And this cow has already been eaten and buried. Putin and his team are not vultures of the 90s, these are cadaveric worms. Nevertheless, he will begin to collapse soon: substations, boiler houses - they are not eternal. Putin distracts the attention of the workers, but when electricity and heating are sprinkled, it will be very unpleasant. Not to mention that the country does not provide itself with food, and there are few roads. As one friend of mine says: I will come to Russia when you finally gain the road from St. Petersburg to Moscow, then I will believe that you got up from your knees.

I think that Putin needs to be removed as soon as possible, with its control method, a technogenic disaster will naturally come. He will finally finish the country. The fact that he stole, covered the bandits, earned money, and in the end declared patriotism and captured Crimea - against this background are small events. It is necessary to survive, not to play patriotism.
