In the annexed Yalta against the Ukrainian activist Larisa of China, the case of extremism was initiated. This was reported by the Crimean human rights group with reference to the activist itself.
On Friday, the Chinese with a lawyer visited the city department of the Investigative Committee, where she was informed about the initiation of the case under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Russian Criminal Code (arousal of hatred or enmity on a national basis), which provides for the four years of the colony. The investigator called her publication on a personal page on Facebook by the basis for the pursuit of the activist. As far as human rights activists can be concluded, while the Chinese passes in the case as a suspect, the prosecution has not yet been charged.
Then the activist was interrogated. “Crimea. Realities” - also with reference to the Chinese - report that during the interrogation that lasted three hours, the investigator demanded “confidence” from it, but the activist noticed that she “had nothing to admit”.
Chinese added that the authorities call her a citizen of Russia, although, as far as one can understand, she did not receive Russian citizenship, but did not leave Ukrainian.
Also on Friday, the activists took a recognizance not to leave.
The Russian prosecutor's office of Crimea announced the initiation of the case against the Chinese on Thursday, not mentioning the surname of the activist. The department reported that the corresponding resolution of the Investigative Committee, issued some time before, was recognized as "legal and justified."
The pursuit of the 52-year-old businessman of the Chinese Russian authorities began in mid-July . After the annexation of Crimea, the activist settled on continental Ukraine, but on business came to Yalta, where she had a two -room apartment. The last time she arrived there at the beginning of last month.
On the evening of July 18, FSB operatives detained Chinese - as stated, on suspicion of separatism in connection with its replicas on social networks. The daughter of the activists then noted: “I don’t like the opinion” of Crimea is not yours. The Chinese was taken to a certain institution (perhaps the Goroddel of the FSB), and from there to the search. The security forces seized all the computer equipment and electronic media of the information, not only the Chinese, but also its relatives. During the search, which continued almost until midnight, they threatened to take away the apartment of the activist. The pressure was called an ambulance.
At the same time, the activist did not report either her procedural status, nor an article by the Russian Criminal Code, which is open, nor whether it is open at all. As you can definitely conclude now, the case at that time was not initiated at all.
The next day, Chinese, as well as her husband and two relatives of the FSB, tried to take away for interrogation. Whether the activist and her loved ones submitted to the security forces were not specified.
On the evening of July 20, it was reported that the Chinese is at home and operatives of the FSB regularly visit it. At the same time, the activist did not report any concrete suspicions or accusations. It was also written that the lawyer was visiting the Chinese.
On July 21, the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea opened a case of the persecution of Chinese. It is open under Articles 146 (illegal imprisonment) and 162 (violation of the inviolability of the dwelling) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Chinese husband, who, like the activist herself, as a result of moral and psychological pressure, the state of health has worsened, some time ago he went to the continental Ukraine and is now being treated in the Kyiv hospital. According to Chinese, her husband has a serious illness. Meanwhile, the security forces blackmail the activist by the fact that they would not release her husband for treatment.
Why the Chinese itself did not go to the continent, it is incomprehensible. Perhaps the reason is that, as the activist later reported, before interrogation after her and her house was monitored, and they did it defiantly.
In a conversation with human rights activists, the Chinese did not exclude that the actual reason for her persecution is the desire of the security forces to take possession of her apartment.
In the past, Chinese was a deputy of the Gasprin village council. In 2010, it was nominated for the mayor of this village within Yalta, however, like a number of other applicants, opposition Party of Regions, failed to register an election account and was not allowed to elections. In February 2014, the Chinese organized in Yalta a joint stock share with Euromaidan. In the fall of the same year, she ran for the Verkhovna Rada, but lost the election.
In early June, in Kerch, the FSB in a similar way terrorized the volunteer Natalya Vashchenko, who came from the Dnieper . The apartment of her mother was searched, and the activist itself was interrogated. There was no case against Vashchenko at that time, but the security forces insisted that she would not leave the annexed Crimea. Nevertheless, the activist ignored these requirements and fled from the peninsula. On June 21, after Vashchenko returned to the continent, it became known about the discovery of the case against her.
