In the suburbs, an attack on the post of traffic police was made

At the capital's suburbs of Balashikha on the 20th kilometer of the Shchelkovo highway, two natives of Central Asia attacked the traffic police post. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The incident occurred at 14:20 of the medium.

According to the police department, the attackers were armed with axes. Meanwhile, the head of the SKR, the head of the Investigative Committee states that in addition to the axes, they had a firearm.

One attacker was killed on the spot. The second tried to hide, but the wounded inspector caught up with him and shot him when he resisted during his detention.

In total, TASS reports with reference to the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region, two police officers were injured. The condition of one of them is evaluated as extremely serious.

Meanwhile, a certain unnamed source of the agency said that the attackers were not two, but more and the rest disappeared, and one of them, possibly wounded. All traffic police officers in Moscow and the Moscow Region, said TASS interlocutor, received an orientation on a foreign car, where several bearded men go. At the same time, he stated that the orientation is not about the natives of Central Asia, but about people "allegedly from the North Caucasus region."

The case was opened under Article 317 of the Criminal Code (an encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer).

Later, the Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee reported that the individuals of the dead were established. It was claimed that in a forest belt near the place of the incident, the backpacks of the attackers with documents were discovered. The names, however, were not called in the department, referring to the interests of the investigation.
