Iran introduced a new mobile anti-aircraft missile system Bavar 373, produced in the country. This was reported byMehr .
The presentation took place in the Ministry of Defense of the country and was timed to the day of the national defense industry. The exhibition was also visited by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
“Bavar” was designed by Iranian scientists together with engineers of the Iranian Aviation Industry Organization and Research Centers of the country.
The air defense system has a radar station with a phased grill, thereby it resembles the Russian 96L6. Installation monitors aerodynamic goals and ballistic missiles at medium and long distances. Bavar moves with the help of Zafar trucks.
It should be noted that a day earlier Iran said that he was not going to buy S-400 air defense systems from Russia.
