All doping tests taken from Russian athletes during the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro were negative. This was stated to the R-Sport agency by the head of the Russian delegation at the Games, Igor Kazikov.
There is no confirmation of this information from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) or the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) yet.
“All doping tests (taken from the Russians) are negative. Are you ready for the fact that they will double-check them? Well, you know, we like to check something after 10 years, how the samples were stored and where they were stored. This is also just an excuse to discuss this topic one more time,” Kazikov said.
