According to Rosbalt, farmers of the Krasnodar Territory, who began a protest “tractor march” to Moscow, and the truck drivers who supported them, were blocked by large police forces in the area of the village of Dorozhnoe, Rostov Region.
According to truck driver Sergei Vladimirov, for the 40 people participating in the rally, the authorities rounded up several riot police buses, dozens of passenger police cars and about one or two hundred police officers themselves. No one has been detained yet, but no one is being released from Dorozhny. Local officials are trying to enter into negotiations with the protesters, but after nightly detentions and beatings, they are determined to get to Moscow.
