On the night of August 23, an attack was made on the defenders of the Moscow park "Torfyanka", who opposed the construction of an Orthodox church. This was announced to OVD-Info by Vladislav Kuznetsov, assistant to Duma deputy Alexander Potapov.
According to Kuznetsov, two employees of the Gorinfor (City Advertising and Information) state-owned institution, who got out of a car with a crane, began to rip off flags, including the flag of the Losinoostrovsky district. One of the attendants, who tried to prevent this, badly injured her hand. They did not show any documents, Kuznetsov claims. The police were called, but the officers who arrived said that everything was legal, and the flag of the Losinoostrovsky district was an advertising structure.
Kuznetsov called the duty reception of Gorinfor, where they refused to tell him anything, but they said that the actions of the employees of the institution were coordinated with the executive authorities.
Previously, the park's defenders were attacked by supporters of the construction of the temple from the Forty Magpies movement, also with the inaction of the police.
