Some time ago, Colta.ru came up with the Elite-2016 project. We decided from the first lips to find out how different elites feel today, from financial to managerial, from the capital to the regional, whether they have a mission, what they think about the country, which they, by virtue of their social role, can look from a bird's eye view.

We felt a shortage of such evidence. And they waited for what would be difficult, but did not know that so.

The texts that you read in this block have undergone a complex fate. Some (not all) went through a multi -storey process of coordination and different versions. Entire pages, names, numbers, history and just strong characteristics were crossed out of them. This time we made extraordinary efforts to hide the iDentity of individual speakers for considerations of their safety.

Of course, it is strange to write about production difficulties. But they are not only ours. And they say almost more about the atmosphere in the country than the texts themselves in their final version. The silence of the elites, conscious and forced, has become a fact of us. We also partly felt that the point “over” in today's Russia means, first of all, not power or material advantage, but multiplicated risk. And silence is very difficult to convert into the text. And then it is necessary to at least say that it is or was. Therefore, we decided to tell about it. The editors are sure that she should still understand for herself and reflect this experience to the end.

Nevertheless, and even even more so - we are grateful to those who agreed to talk with us when it was so dangerous to openly express their point of view: three interlocutors who did this on the terms of anonymity - a major businessman (more than 200 million dollars), the head of the administration of a famous Russian city and an expert working with the Government of the Russian Federation . And, of course, our two interlocutors who act with an open shot, the founder of the 418 intellectual club, the IT-Girl, Nadezhda Obolentseva and political technologist Andrei Kolyadin , who worked in the presidential administration under Vladislav Surov.

- Thousands of people are busy at your factories, in your business. When was the last time you had a super -spanned moment in this regard?

- In 2014, when the Ukrainian crisis, sanctions and the price raised up the country. It was very intense, the income fell very strongly. But there was no one to run to.

- That is, your business has suffered from sanctions?

- Very much! The income has fallen, the future has gone. I feel in a crisis that I am responsible for people, every dismissal is given to my heart. But it's okay. Money for me is not the meaning of life, but also very important.

- Pressure on business now ...

- It increased, yes.

It cannot but outrage the coming to the business of a large number of specialists from law enforcement agencies. But I can’t do anything about it, this is a condition for survival.

- And you have no fears? ..

- I have the feeling that I need to be strong. In principle, there are always fears. More precisely, not fears, but risks. I correlate them and understand: I do not need someone else's, but I will definitely not give mine. Here in the 90s they said so: I don’t need a stranger, but try my mind. There were cases of clashes with very serious organizations. In principle, all ended quite evenly.

-And you have no feeling that recently negotiations with the authorities began to resemble negotiations that were in the 90s? Just before, people had machine guns in their hands, and now a phone with a notebook.

- Well ... it cannot but resent the coming into the business of a large number of specialists from law enforcement agencies. This is sad, but I can’t do anything about it, it is just a condition for survival. If possible, I say that the presence of such specialists in business is not to the benefit of the goals that you set. They agree with me.

-By the way, you have no feeling that the last people trying to do something to the benefit of society are surrounded by Medvedev, no matter how ridiculous?

- No. I have the feeling that different people have a different idea of ​​the benefits of society, that they see this benefit differently. There are two groups-one has such a retro-thought, and they seem to go to the Soviet Union: if we intimidate the problem, scream, then it will be resolved. And there is a group of people ...

- More consciously acting.

- No, those and those are conscious. More technocratic. And having a greater examination, more professional, or something.

Liberals are very rational and callous people to other people's suffering. Their sense of duty is blurred.

- The dispute of Westerners and Slavophiles.

- Well, I would say - a debate of technocrats and security forces. But often the methods of technocrats are also incomprehensible. Most likely, because they are liberal in their thinking and do not consider it important to follow the theory of changes.

-You say so “liberal”, as if it were something bad.

- I believe that liberals are very rational and callous people to other people's suffering, just due to rationalism. Therefore, their sense of duty is blurred. I'm talking about those with whom I personally had to interact. This in no way concerns the classics of liberalism (laughs). So, technocrats are trying to say that by default we need to do this, because we are smart, we studied in Yela. And the security forces are excited and say: “You are compradors! We must have import substitution! ”

-And at what stage, in your opinion, is this dispute now?

- Now, with the help of Crimea and Donbass, some consent has formed. These are milk, meat, machines, equipment ... Here, the ruble fell. At first everyone was scared, then it turned out that many companies really benefited, whose products were uncompetitive because of the cost of the ruble. And now it turned out to be relevant, even the Chinese cannot resist. Machine -building, drilling, dull ... Plus, hitting sanctions forced many companies to work on the domestic market. You know, there is no thin one without good. And opponents are always good. Another question is how the opponent interacts with you. If he immediately says that you need to pick up everything, this is one thing, and if he constructively takes the dialogue ... although much is really very sad, of course. For example, attitude towards entrepreneurs. It’s so stupid not to understand that entrepreneurs are the property, it is directly very stupid! But this is just from here, from retro-thoughts, because there are a lot of lobots.

-Everything goes to the fact that the level of protest moods is growing simply due to a deterioration in the economic situation. At some point, people will go outside, and there may be a mess.

- I don’t know, I am a supporter of living in the present, within the framework of six months. In Russia, it seems to me, it is impossible to foresee for a year, it can be anything at all! I would not want to be a mess, that's for sure. I would like common sense to solve problems.

It’s so stupid not to understand that entrepreneurs are the property, it is directly very stupid! But this is just from here, from retro-thoughts.

- It seems to you that there are forces that will allow you to solve everything with common sense?

- I think yes.

- And who is it?

- The whole banking elite, all without exception. The whole industrial elite.

- Oh, I am so -so represented by Alisher Usmanov ...

- Including Usmanov. It has wide connections and big money. And he is extremely interested in this. If a person is not interested, he will add oil into the fire. There are people who have great conditions, large groups, and they will be interested in stability. Therefore, they will go and will negotiate. And I am no exception, despite the fact that I have the least compared to them.

- You are not in any public statements that you keep your tongue behind your teeth. Didn't you get for this on a hat?

- I am a reasonable person and understand what can be said and what is impossible. I am not some kind of psycho, which was dropped from the leash. I think that if I am categorical, I will not achieve the goal. If you want to be changes, then the worst of all is to contrast the problem. It is best to meditate on the problem, to manage it, and then you will come to the decision. I am not a politician, I have no one to wave with. I influence the situation by the fact that I myself took certain obligations and do not violate them. For example, I do not interact with employees, with officials to solve my problems, work on my own. It's like the rules of the road. Here's how you influence traffic rules? I follow the rules, that's it! How else can I influence the rules of the road? Not more. But in general, I am for some elites to be grouped in order to have their own position and defend it at every border.

I am a reasonable person and understand what can be said and what is impossible. I am not some kind of psycho, which was dropped from the leash.

- The theory of small affairs?

- Not a theory of small deeds, but, say ... The theory of gradual agreements and improvements. At the same time, since it makes no sense to make an oath to the people, they swore allegiance to each other in a narrow circle.

- Direct Masonic bed. Did any of your friends work as an observer in the elections?

- Yes. One of my top managers.

“She told you how it was? ..

- Yes, she told. She talked about the stuffing. The head of the election commission threw it.

- And this struck you?

- The scale struck. And the inactivity of people authorized to answer for this was struck. This, by the way, also influenced me. Then I realized that this was a mistake that many, including political technologists, that the system was just arranged. They themselves did not expect that this would lead to the fact that each official would use the elections as a means of survival. That is, a victory in the elections, more precisely, the implementation of the installation in the elections is a guarantee that I will save my clearing.

- Officials of the lower and middle level?

- Absolutely right.

- You say "it influenced me." How?

- I changed the impression of the authorities, about a number of officials personally who made maximum efforts to this.

- And you went to rallies?

- No. Many friends walked. From the feeling: Then I can brow with this. I dismantled this feeling from the beginning to the end, I thought that I would have in the end, and I realized that it would be, of course, in general ... Boring, then there would be disappointment ... No, at first I wanted to go, then I was too lazy. Then I wanted again, then laziness became again. It was necessary to go, of course (laughs) .

“You just want to change the regime ... to whom?” On honest? You have to have an honest tracklist, and you cherished the banks. Looks like you just change the suit. And we want to improve the quality of the deck.

- And this is the disappointment you were afraid of has already come?

- Yes, I have no. You know, in jurisprudence there is such a thing - criminal negligence. Like - he did not realize that socially dangerous consequences would come. They thought it would bypass them. They just went out to hang out. Purpose! You must set goals and achieve them. I talked with one friend, I say: “It seems that you do not want something to change, but you want to become famous. This is striking and makes you unsympathetic for people like me. ” - "Why?" - “Because we want the onset of changes certain, and you just want to change the regime ... to whom? On honest? All are dishonest, and you will be honest? " - "Yes." “But I have no feeling that you are honest. You have to have an honest track list, and you cherished the banks, you took their property from people for debts, and now you will become honest? No, it seems you just change the suit. And we want to improve the quality of the deck. "

By the way, in my opinion, Navalny could be more understandable in his activities. I do not quite understand (and, I think, not only me), what criteria for effectiveness he has and what goals he set for himself, he did not declare them. It seems to me that he pursues the deeper goals ... But at the same time, it is terribly to see a large number of mimicing politicians who are also not clear what goal is set in the Duma.

- It seems to me that it is clear what. Most are businessmen who at some point realized that they needed a thought to develop their business. Or it is the fostering of the system.

- Here are much more fostering the system there, which just rub. There is no sense from them and the system. But what will you do with them, well, let them ...

- Or maybe if you took up politics, would you have more levers of influence?

-The task of the entrepreneur is again to measure the risks. Sometimes I participate in politics of various kinds of speeches and I think that this is my constructive contribution. They periodically offer me: “Go to the Duma. You can defend your position there. No one will bother you. You have money, you are a wealthy person. Why aren't you going? " I say: "I do not want." - “Well, you see, you don't want to. Do not complain after that that there are a lot of injustices in the country. ” I answer: "I do not complain at all."

“God with him that the country does not know, but why didn’t they inform us?!” Or so: "Nothing depends on us!" There is a feeling of their own uselessness and worthlessness.

- By the way, do you have a spare airfield?

- I do not have a spare airfield.

- And your friends?

- They have. But these are not spare airfields, this, let's say, housing abroad. No one is bothering anyone to escape, just who needs you there? Where it was born, it came in handy there. So I: it will be difficult for me to realize myself abroad. I will be broken and I can’t. I completely identify myself with Russia, with its problems and suffering and I think that I am the same, I have the same cross on me as the rest.

- Cross?

- In a good way, in the sense of understanding fate. I traveled around the country here and in a small shop of one town I forgot the camera, very dear. I return in four hours, and the local girl says: “Yes, here, please ...” I say: “You know, he is very expensive.” - "Seriously? Uninteresting. " -“Listen, I would sell, I would live beautifully, left somewhere ...”-“Where?” - “Well, to Canada ...” - “I won’t leave here.”

- This is a story about what?

- This is a story about Fatal.

- And what do you think: has the attitude to good and evil has changed in the country in recent years?

- I feel the complete absence of landmarks of good and evil. There is no real policy, there is no party construction, education is lost, guidelines, personal and professional are absent ...

- Is this a common mood in the elites?

-In my opinion, people believe that many things penetrate in addition to the will of the elite, not to mention the people. “God with him that the country does not know, but why didn’t they inform us?!” Or so: "Nothing depends on us!" There is a feeling of their own uselessness and worthlessness.

- Inability to influence what is happening?

-Not that the impossibility, but ... some kind of feeling even complete uselessness in these circumstances.
