The stolen is recognized as the kidnapper

In the Seattle, the jury of the jury found a Russian citizen Roman Seleznev guilty of cyber abuse. It is reported by The Seattle Times.

The hearings lasted a week and a half. On Wednesday, the jury began meetings about this case. As a result, they found Seleznev guilty of 38 of 40 prosecution points. The jury considered the two episodes related to the hacking of pizzeria computers.

Russian lawyer John Henry Brown called only one witness. A computer expert tried to convince the jury that law enforcement officers who confiscated Seleznev’s laptop opened it without having a warrant, and could manipulate evidence.

On July 5, 2014, the son of State Duma deputy Valery Seleznev Roman was arrested by American agents at the airport of the Maldives of the Male. He was accused of cyber abundance and embezzlement of data from bank details. The US prosecutor's office said that the secret agents of the secret service, when arrested, seized a laptop from Seleznev with more than 2 million stolen data of credit cards. The indictment included, however, only 1.7 million numbers.

After the detention, Seleznev was transported to prison on the island of Guam, and then transported to the United States. Valery Seleznev, as well as the Russian Foreign Ministry, was called an arrest by kidnapping.

On October 10, 2014, it became known that the US court put forward another 11 charges against Seleznev , expanding his case to 40 points. The investigation considered that the Russian was not only involved in the theft of credit card numbers, but also to create a system that teachs the use of stolen numbers to commit crimes.

Seleznev refused to admit guilt.

In January 2015, in response to the expansion of the Magnitsky list, four US citizens involved in Seleznev’s arrest was closed to Russia .
