"Media Man" announced the program

The program of the International Festival of Activist Arts “Media Assembly. Moscow - 5 ”, which will be held from September 7 to 21 in the center of creative industries“ Factory ”.

This year, the program has not only the events of the traditional sections of the festival “Tactical Media”, “Deliece Forey” and “Decoloniality”, but also the newly-core and “Fem club” that recently formed on its platform of the associations. Among them:

• Discussion on the topic "Allied";
• Presentation of the second collection of texts "Mediaudar" and the timline of activist art;
• Performive conference on psychiatry;
• show of projects "Catalan Diary" and "Nomadic Cities";
• The premiere of the documentary performance “His Alien”;
• Presentation of Molokoplus magazine;
• Presentation of the Quir-Feminist affinity of the art group “Unwanted Organization”;
• Charity Fair of Craftivism in support of the Sisters Center;
• Forum on International World September 21;
• punk concert in the club "Steps";
• Constant and temporary exhibitions.

On September 14 , on the opening of the season at the Factory, the Media Man will host the presentation of the book Media Activities: Activist art today. II ”, the continuation of the collection of the same name, released in 2013.

The butt is dedicated to the understanding of political art. In addition, the sections of the books mapping the zones of the intellectual, political and creative experiment, now marked by the greatest intensity. The content of the collection: “History and theory”, “Discursive performance”, “The policy of excluded”, “Decentralization”, “gender bloc”, as well as “Replicas” and “The project of the artist”.
