Visit of a polite person

Dear my colleague, Alexander Ryklin, was in the spotlight, after he posted a photograph of Koktebel on his page on a social network with a modest inscription "I am at home". After the explosion of public indignation, the famous opposition journalist and activist explained that he had in mind Koktebel, Voloshin's house. And we are talking about the soul of Ryklin, and not about Putin's slogan. At the same time, the journalist apologized to the citizens of Ukraine, who insulted his arrival in the occupied territory. And he asked me to try to understand.

I understand Alexander Ryklin well. But I would also like that he would understand us, the citizens of the country, the part of the territory of which is occupied by the army of his homeland. Alexander illustrates his apology with a photograph of a single picket, on which he protested against the occupation of Ukraine. I am grateful to Alexander for this position. And I want to remind you that he carried out this single picket in full accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. This legislation, when overclocking the participants in single pickets, as a rule, violates the Russian government.

I can’t understand one thing: why should not be treated with the same respect to the legislation of my country? Ukraine does not prohibit trips to Crimea to anyone - neither its own citizens nor foreigners. But these trips after the occupation of the territory of the peninsula and the destruction of border checkpoints there can only be made through the territory of Ukraine itself. This is not our fault, Alexander. Direct culprits of the current situation are the leadership of Russia and the citizens of this country, most of them approved the capture of Crimea.

If it is really so important for you to protest against the occupation of our territory - and if Koktebel is really so expensive for you, do not make your way like a tat. Do not use the services of the Amet-Khan Sultan Closed by our government of the Simferopol International Airport, do not cross the Kerch Strait through the crossing. This is the road of lies. On such a road, you can only get to Alexander Voloshin. But not to Maximilian.

You recall that in Soviet times we all did not hesitate to visit the occupied countries of the Baltic. Well, yes, they did not disdain. Because we were all residents of one large concentration camp - only different huts. Your country was captured by bandits who dispersed the parliament elected by its citizens and defeated the bloody civil war. Mine is finally occupied by yours in 1920, then there were Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan. Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia - twenty years later.

There was no particular difference between the occupation of Ukraine or Latvia. The difference was only in the amount of blood spilled. And the fact that the Latvian Republic managed to fit into the pre -war canons of international law, but we did not have time. But moving from one hut to another is not regulated by international law. Perhaps the Moscow intelligentsia, who visited Jurmala or Tallinn, never thought - you are very variable in your views. And we thought. We knew where and where we were going. We did not violate a single law, not a single resolution. We simply moved from one occupied country to another. And all this happened on the territory of universal lawlessness, proudly called itself the Soviet Union.

Now everything is different. The USSR died. We live in different countries. Between our countries are diplomatic relations, the agreements violated by Russia, the state border seized by it. If this is really so important for you if you cannot without koktebel, if you can not tolerate a little before the Putin regime is dismantled and the occupation is stopped, come, dear Alexander. In Ukraine, guests are always happy. Come for those for whom Crimea is not just the house of the soul, but also the native house, which they cannot get into. Come for those who were taken from this home to the places too distant - and who risks the Crimea to not see Crimea. Come for Dzhemilev. Come for Sentsov.

Just respect the legislation of the country you are going to visit. Just everything.
