The peace judge of the site No. 285 of the Ivanovo district of Moscow, Natalya Titova, rejected the IK-4 lawsuit in Kotlas about compensation for material damage to Sergey Mokhnatkin. This was reported by a friend of the political prisoner Tatyana Pashkevich.
The IK-4 administration accused the political prisoner of a radio breakdown worth 10,050 rubles. The incident occurred on March 4. He himself indicates that on that day the FSINITS beat him and damaged him the spine. According to the jailers, Mokhnatkin knocked out a walkie -talkie from the breast pocket of one of them when the political prisoner was fixed on the floor. However, from their explanations it follows that at that moment Mokhnatkin lay on the floor and did not react to anything.
Representatives of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia were not at court sessions. The court denied the court to participate in the court or video conference. The interests of Mokhnatkin were represented by public defender Vladimir Stepanov. Judge Titova made a decision to refuse the claims.
On March 4, Mokhnatkina was brutally beaten in a colony of six Fsinovites. The Politzeck had to be sent to the Kotlas SIZO-2 to participate in the court in his third, the case. He demanded a written order of translation, without which the transfer is impossible, but received a refusal. Then Mokhnatkin lay on the floor and said that he would not go to the pre -trial detention center. In response, the jailers beat him, after which they took him to a pre -trial detention center.
This was not the first beating of Mokhnatkin in IK-4, but it was it that entailed grave consequences. Ambulance doctors, called to the political zytk after his delivery to the investigative insulator, recorded his back bruise. Meanwhile, the forensic examination conducted in the pre-trial detention center on March 17 revealed in Mokhnatkin consolidated (fused) compression fractures of the 1st and 2nd lumbar vertebrae.
On March 15, Mokhnatkin wrote a statement to the Kotlass Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office. He asked to initiate a criminal case on the fact of his beating. In addition, the political prisoner accused the employees of the pre-trial detention center-2 of Kotlas of excess of official powers. They refused to accept from him a statement about the crime committed by IK-4 employees, as well as call an ambulance, take x-rays and conduct a physical examination. However, the investigator refused to initiate the case.
Mokhnatkin for a long time sought his transfer to the hospital. However, they continued to keep him in jail, referring to the beginning of the process in the fourth case. Political prisoner was charged with part 2 of Article 321 of the Criminal Code (disorganization of the colony with the use of non -hazardous violence to the fsinovtsa), which provides for up to five years of imprisonment. According to the investigation, on March 4, in the Kotlas IK-4 Politsyk, "not wanting to fulfill the legal requirements of the employees of the institution’s administration, after the UFSIN employees applied physical coercion measures to it, hit one of them in the person, causing physical pain." Earlier it was reported that the assistant to the chief of IK-4 A. Veselov was the victims in the case .
Human rights activists unequivocally explained the fourth case of the fourth case by the desire of the FSINESS to avoid responsibility for the brutal beating of the political collection.
On June 16, Mokhnatkin, achieving reference to the hospital, announced a dry hunger strike . However, it was hospitalized only on June 25.
The Committee on May 6 is collecting funds for the treatment of Mokhnatkin and legal assistance to him.
