Poroshenko replaced the head of the presidential administration

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko fired Boris Lozhkin from his post as head of his administration. The head of state announced this at a meeting of the National Reform Council.

“Lozhkin remains my adviser and in a responsible position in the Reform Council and the Investment Council,” Poroshenko said.

The President announced that Igor Rainin would become the new head of the administration.

“I have made a decision to appoint Igor Lvovich Rainin as the head of the presidential administration,” he announced Poroshenko at the meeting.

Igor Rainin began his political career in 1998 as a specialist in the Kolomaksky district administration of Kharkov. From 2001 to March 2010 he worked as the first deputy head of the main department of economy of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. Later he was a deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

Since 2014, he has served as Acting Deputy Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. Since November 17, 2014 - Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. And on February 3, 2015, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko introduced Rainin as chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
