The candidate from PARNAS was released eight hours after his arrest in St. Petersburg

Candidate for the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region from PARNAS, municipal deputy Daniil Ken was detained at about seven o'clock in the evening on Sunday, August 28, in St. Petersburg while fighting illegal election campaigning of United Russia. This was reported on the page of the St. Petersburg branch of PARNAS on VKontakte. He was taken to the 58th police department and, after drawing up a report on disobedience to a lawful order of a police officer (under Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code), they were initially going to be kept in custody overnight until the trial, but then released after three o’clock in the morning. Ken announced his release on Twitter.

“The disobedience consisted of the fact that the police officer asked Daniil not to interfere with the illegal picket of EdRa, and Daniil continued to insist on presenting documents on the approval or elimination of the picket,” the PARNAS report states.

As Rosbalt writes , citing a message from St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly deputy Boris Vishnevsky, Ken was detained by the police when he “tried to move the United Russia tent to the legally required 100-meter distance from the metro.”

First, at the duty station, Vishnevsky was informed that Ken was accused of petty hooliganism - under the “arrest” article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences.

upd. It is unknown when the trial will take place. As reported on the page of the regional PARNAS on VKontakte, Ken was released on an obligation to appear at the police department upon request. Upon his release, they refused to give him a copy of the protocol on the administrative offense.
