The first deputy prosecutor of Buryatia, Alexander Muravyov, approved the indictment in the case of a 25-year-old resident of Ulan-Ude Vladimir Olennikov, who is charged with a mockery of the holiday of victory over Germany. Information about this is published on the website of the regional supervisory authority. The case is sent to the Buryat Supreme Court.

Olennikov is charged with part 3 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code (rehabilitation of Nazism by spreading a clear disrespect for the society of information about the days of military glory of Russia). According to this charges, the code provides for a fine, mandatory work lasting up to 360 hours or up to a year of corrections.

What measure of restraint was chosen by Olennikov is not specified. One way or another, the Code of Criminal Procedure does not provide for conclusions in a pre -trial detention center on charges.

According to the plot of the case, on May 9-11 last year, when in Russia at the state level the 70th anniversary of the victory over Germany was widely celebrated, the Olennikov published a number of images on his VK page. In particular, the prosecutor’s office claims, he placed the image of the flag with Nazi symbols, which was accompanied by a text expressing “support for Nazism and disrespect for the values ​​of modern Russian society,” as well as contempt for the holiday on May 9.

According to "number one" with reference to the head of the TFR department in the Zheleznodorozhny district of the city of Ivan Belokopytov, the accused also published the image of Adolf Hitler.

The faces were found neither the publications imputed by Olennikov, nor even his account on VKontakte. Perhaps the young man led his VK page under the pseudonym. In any case, "number one" writes that the regional CPE "calculated" a blogger.

As noted, the Olennikov case is the first case of persecution in Buryatia under article 354.1. In the investigation, Belokopytov said, the young man fully pleaded guilty and repented, explaining that he had placed images for the sake of a joke.

An official of the TFR that on May 9, Olennikov was walking along Ulan-Ude in the form of a soldier of the Third Reich. As the Center "Owl" clarifies without reference to the sources, the police detained the young man on the denunciation of passers -by. However, Olennikov told the security forces that he participated in a historical reconstruction in which he portrayed a prisoner of war. Friends of the young man who came to the police on the call confirmed this. The police found out the identity of the detainee and released him.

In what year this incident took place - the past or the current one - Belokopytov did not specify. “Owl” conveys that we are talking about May 2016, but she also dates the presentation of Olennikov on VKontakte by the VKontakte.

According to the official of the Investigative Committee, the case of absenteeism surfaced after the beginning of the investigation in the publication case. Thus, if the walk took place this year, it is likely that it was after it that the CPE showed interest in Olennikov, which resulted in initiating a criminal case.
