
The Ukrainian government has expanded the personal sanctions list of the country involved in the violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country and extended its validity. This was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Cubiv, reports UNIAN.
“Today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved proposals for the extension and expansion of personal economic and other restrictive measures and sanctions regarding citizens who support or finance terrorism,” Kubiv said. “We extended sanctions against 388 individuals. And we have expanded the list of individuals and legal entities, against which it is proposed to apply sanctions to 259 individuals and 259 individuals 46 legal entities ". The policy of personal sanctions has been applied by the Ukrainian authorities since 2014 in response to Russia's aggression. Sanctions are approved by the Council of National Security and Defense and are fixed by decree of the President of Ukraine.
