The Brazilian Senate has voted to remove President Dilma Rousseff from office. Earlier, Brazilian deputies voted for Rousseff's impeachment.
Dilma Rousseff was accused of manipulating the federal budget in order to hide the extent of the financial problems in the country. Critics say she hid the deficit to guarantee herself a re-election in 2014.

Senators temporarily removed Dilma Rousseff from office back in May. Now they have decided that she should not be suspended temporarily, but until the end of her term, that is, until the end of 2018. Vice President Michel Temer has served as president since May. He will remain in this post for another two years.
