The US imposed sanctions against the builders of the Kerch Bridge

The US has imposed sanctions against the companies SGM-Most and Mostotrest, which are involved in the construction of the Kerch Bridge. This is stated on the website of the US Department of the Treasury.

The company "SGM-Most" was created specifically for the construction of the bridge to Crimea. It is owned by "Stroygazmontazh" of Arkady Rotenberg.

SGM-Most signed a 100 billion ruble contract with Mostotrest , which will make supports and spans. Almost all of Mostotrest's shares were purchased by the non-governmental pension fund Blagosostoyanie in August 2015. Previously, a significant share of the company belonged to Arkady Rotenberg's son. Vedomosti's sources assumed that the Rotenbergs decided to sell their stake in the enterprise to protect it from sanctions.
