On August 30, lawyer Eduard Musin was killed in the town of Obolensk near Moscow. This was reported on the website of Moskovsky Komsomolets.
Musin was killed in front of his own father-in-law at the entrance of the house. The human rights activist suddenly screamed and fell down, and blood came out of his mouth and nose. An ambulance crew arrived and recorded the death, considering it to be an acute cardiovascular insufficiency. But in the morgue, doctors found a bullet hole in the man's back, and then the bullet itself in the lung.
Eduard Musin was known in Obolensk for his human rights activities. He actively opposed the abolition of the elections of heads of settlements and municipalities, defended the owners of illegally demolished pavilions in Obolensk, represented in court the interests of the deputy of the Serpukhov district Nikolai Dizhur, who sued the leaders of the local United Russia party because they published a newspaper without state registration. Also, Musin appealed to the court with a request to remove one of the candidates from the elections.
“This is a contract political assassination. I completely dismiss the everyday version - Musin was an intelligent person, ”Dizhur told MK.
Neighbors of the murdered human rights activist said that a few days ago they saw a suspicious man in a camouflage uniform and a mask on his face in the courtyard of the house. They suggest that this person may be involved in what happened.
