A Crimean journalist is being searched

In Simferopol, the house of the journalist of the Crimean Tatars online publication Elmaz Abduveliyeva is being searched. This was reported on Facebook by journalist and activist Lilya Budzhurova. According to her, “armed security forces burst” into Abduveliyeva’s house, “breaking down the door” and conducting a search, “without presenting documents and without explaining the reasons.”

UPD: “According to the lawyer Jemil Temishev, who was present during the search in the house where Elmaz Abduvelieva lives with her parents, the search was not connected either with her personally or with her journalistic activities. Be that as it may, the behavior of the security forces was ugly. They broke into the house, breaking the lock, and along the way they obviously deliberately damaged the car that was parked in the yard. They woke up the women by pointing machine guns at them and did not let them change their clothes after sleep. They threatened to shoot the dog, which, naturally, lost its nerve from such dog-like treatment of people, ” writes Budzhurova.
