On February 25, 2013, the body of 20-year-old Alexander Sherera was brought to the medical center doctors in the Armenian city of Gyumri from the Russian military unit. His parents, who live in the Volgograd region, learned about his death on the same day - from his colleagues by a long chain of acquaintances. Officially, the family did not report anything for almost a day.

“The head of the military unit presented all this in such an angle that, they say, he just fell and died. Allegedly a heart attack, ”says the father of the deceased Evgeny Sherer. “But we knew how this happened, from the guys who served with him.”

Early in the morning, on the parade ground, Sherer with his colleague Vladislav Kosinov occurred some kind of skirmish, according to the documents of the military investigation. Kosinov threw Sherer through his hip, he hit the asphalt and turned off. They tried to save him, but the ordinary died in the hospital, without regaining consciousness.

Father did not believe in history with a heart attack: firstly, his son was recognized as suitable for military service, secondly, he did not drink, did not smoke and engaged in heavy athletics, thirdly, he never talked about heart problems. For all the time of service, he generally complained about his health only once, and even then to conjunctivitis.

It seemed more likely to Evgeny Shereer that the son died from a reflex cardiac arrest. This can happen after a strong blow. For example, in a solar plexus.

Fatalism of the investigator, who reasoned that “some people were simply destined to die at some moment,” only increased the distrust of the family. The first autopsy was made in Rostov. While the pathologists carried out the procedures laid down in such cases, Evgeny Sherer was looking for specialists who could re -examine the body of his son.

“The official bodies said that the second autopsy is made only after receiving a conclusion on the first,” he recalls. “They offered either to bury, and then, in a month, to make an exhumation, or to keep the body in the refrigerator.”

Heart and rising aorta are absent

Evgeny Sherer called the Foundation “Mother’s Right” to Moscow, and he was advised an independent expert in Chelyabinsk. Eugene put a coffin in his minibus and drove to the Urals. “I was lucky,” recalls the father, who had to carry the body of his son and a half thousand kilometers, “was February. Cold".

Almost a day of driving, and on March 2, the zinc coffin arrived at the experts. The autopsy began at 10 in the morning.

The task of a pathologist is to describe in detail the corpse and each organ. The internal organs were brought to Chelyabinsk separately from the body, in plastic bags for re -opening. The research part of the pathological conclusion for a person who is not versed in medicine is little understandable, but even a non -specialist will pay attention to this piece: “The lymph nodes are not increased. There are no hemorrhages in the soft tissues surrounding the subhameating bone and thyroid cartilage. Voice ligaments are moderately swollen. The goose iron is not determined. The heart and the rising aorta are absent. ”

Eugene began to recall that when the first examination was done in Rostov, a military, accompanying the body from Gyumri, said that the doctors took the heart of Alexander. Then he did not believe, and the military, it turned out, did not lie.

“It seems that no one ever takes the heart. After all, quite a bit of material is needed to study fabrics, ”the father says in surprise.

It was impossible to establish the cause of Sherer’s death without a heart. And the soldier's heart remained in Rostov. For 2200 kilometers from Chelyabinsk.

Experts put the corpse in order. Unfortunately, they could not write something unambiguous without studying the heart.

Father took the coffin and returned to Zhirnovsk. 1500 kilometers, almost a day of the way.

Sherera was buried without a heart. Father who came to the funeral said: "Do not do, like me, do not send the children to the army."

"I just need to make sure that this is my son's heart"

By the end of March, state examination arrived. Rostov doctors decided that Private Alexander Sherer died of a heart attack. But even after the document was ready, the heart was not returned. In April, the investigator, occupying the death of Sherera, received a petition drawn up by the lawyers of the Mother Law on behalf of the father of the soldier. From April to November, a lawyer from the Mother Right fund appealed this refusal in two ships: the 5th garrison military court and the North Caucasus District. In the fall of 2015, the investigation in Gyumri terminated the case. Kosinov, who threw Sherer on the parade ground, decided not to hold accountable by force, as the decree of the military investigative department, "the insignificance of his act." The heart was not returned even after that.

“According to the law, histological drugs are stored for three years, a wet archive of pieces of internal organs and tissues is a year in a ten percent solution of formalin. The Mother Right Foundation demanded that the archive safety and urgently transfer biological materials to experts for research. In August 2016, in response to our petitions, we were informed that the histological archive and heart were stored in the forensic bureau of the Ministry of Defense in Rostov-on-Don, ”explains Nadezhda Kuzin's lawyer, lawyer of the Mother's Rights.

“Now I learned that this is a heart and a sampling in the refrigerator already in our city, in Zhirnovsk, in the investigation department. It turns out that there is a check there, ”says the father.

In Zhirnovsk, civil investigation officers check the draft commission for negligence that recognized Sherera fit. Based on the results of the first examination, investigators believe that the deceased private was seriously ill and should not have been undergoing army service at all.

Papers that are pedantically collected in the Foundation "Mother's Right" have already accumulated by five standard volumes. The shooter on the mail scales in the fund designed for three kilograms describes two full circles - papers with readings, medical documents, and photos weigh more than six kilograms. How much the heart of Alexander Sherera accurately weighed is unknown. According to statistics, the mass of the heart of an adult man ranges from 274 to 385 grams.

“We wrote all these two years with the help of“ mother’s right ”, sued. I had to survive lawlessness, indifference. I just need to make sure that this is my son’s heart, to check whether the samples of the word of the first examination confirm. The army makes me bury my son in parts. Give your heart! " - the ordinary father is indignant.

From the moment of the death of Sherer to this day, the family of the family is accompanied by lawyers of the Mother Law Foundation.

From the family of the deceased, as well as from the families of other military personnel, the fund does not take a penny. No board, no “interest on the winnings”, nothing. Correspondence with Gyumri, the work of analysts and experts of the fund, the constant trips of a lawyer in the courts cost a lot of money, but they are necessary in order to find the perpetrators in his death.
