Russian VKS suspected in a blow to the Syrian market: at least 25 dead

During the air at the Syrian city of Idlib, at least 25 people were killed, dozens were injured, Reuters reports citing rescue service employees. One of the eyewitnesses suggested that the Russian VKS struck.

According to the agency, bombs fell in the market area, among the victims there are many women and children. With reference to eyewitnesses, the agency reports that several buildings collapse also. From under the ruins they continue to extract the bodies of the dead and the wounded.

The surroundings of Idlib are under the control of the association of a number of radical Islamic associations, RIA Novosti notes.

One of the local residents and rescuers working at the place of the tragedy suggest that the blow was struck by the aircraft of Russian VKS. According to Reuters, such a conclusion made on the basis that the bombs were dropped from a significant height, and the Syrian Air Force usually fly much lower.
