The Moscow City Court granted the petition of the Investigative Committee and terminated the proceedings on the complaint about the arrest of property of the former head of the RusHydro company Evgeny Doda, accused of fraud by 73 million rubles. During the meeting, the investigator sent a corresponding request to the judge, explaining this by the fact that "disappeared into the subject of production," the Interfax agency reports.
Earlier, the meeting was postponed to clarify the information by the court, since the DOD said that the two arrested apartments no longer belong to him. At the same time, the Moscow City Court abolished the arrest of the property of the spouse and father, by sending the materials for a new consideration to the court of first instance.
In August, DOD returned the company 73 million rubles. According to his lawyer Vladimir Zherebenkov, the relatives of the accused raised the money and transferred it to the RusHydro account. "Dod showed goodwill and completely compensated for the damage to" RusHydro ", and also transferred 20% to the orphanage. He did not make a decision on accruals of bonuses alone, but the board of directors. He received money and paid taxes from them. DOD immediately said that if an error occurred during the accruals, he was ready to compensate," Zerebenkov explained.
On August 1, it became known that the Basmanny Court of Moscow authorized the arrest of property of the ex-head of RusHydro Evgeny Doda. The arrest was imposed on more than 30 real estate objects with a total value of about three billion rubles.
Evgeny DOD was previously arrested by the decision of the Basmanny Court until August 22. The charge was also charged to the chief of the corporate accounting and reporting department of RusHydro Dmitry Finkel, who was detained with Dod and also arrested until August 22. They both are charged with the commission of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code ("Fraud").
DOD and Finkel, according to investigators, committed the theft of the RusHydro property on an especially large scale. After approval of the financial report of the corporation in 2013, DOD wrote out a bonus of 353.21 million rubles, "illegally overestimation of the amount of remuneration by 73.2 million rubles."
DOD himself, speaking in court, said that he was ready to compensate for the damage in the case, although he does not admit his guilt, he categorically rejects all claims of the investigation, insisting on the legality of his actions. According to him, RusHydro led ordinary economic activity without violating laws, and the reporting was verified by the tax and auditors. The defense of Doda asked to let him go on bail in the amount of 78 million rubles.
According to the materials of the investigation, the remuneration of the top managers of RusHydro depended on the financial results of the company. To increase the bonuses, DOD and Finkel did not reflect in the financial reporting for 2013 paper losses of 12.4 billion rubles from the depreciation of 84.39% of RAO Energy Systems of the East, 29.8% of Yakutskenergo and 1.04% of the Far Eastern Energy Company. Thus, the company allegedly misled the shareholders. At the same time, in 2013-2014, there were no complaints about the company by the size of rewards.
