"Morphoses / Morphoses"Compagnie Utilité Publique
September 17, 20:00
In addition to working with Russian colleagues Compagnie Utilit é Publique will show on the “Skorok” its performance “ Morphoses ” : it is located in the area between dance, sculpture and plastic installation. Plastic types of art are generally interested in Corinne Rochet and Nicholas Pettit , which, apparently, are looking for inspiration in modern philosophy. And although the name of the performance refers to the texts of Ovid, antiquity does not interest the authors in itself: this is rather a basic source for the mythology of modernity. The topic of the performance is an environmental, political and social crisis in which an act of transformation, transformation (metamorphosis) is a way for a person to cope with the horrors of being and again find a connection with the world. The field of experiment for the authors is a human body, and the important component of the play will be paper, the texture is noble and grateful, with all its cultural connotations.
