Defrauded shareholders who came to talk to the governor were detained for holding a picket

Two long-term construction shareholders on the 2nd Tovarny Proezd of Saratov, who on September 18 came to the polling station in the Volzhsky district of Saratov to complain to the governor, were detained. They were accused of violating the rules of the picket. This is reported by the Internet newspaper "The Fourth Power" with reference to another equity holder of the same long-term construction Nikolai Zatsepin.

Zatsepin told the publication that immediately after talking with the governor, two women were detained near the polling station and taken to the police station.

“The governor promised to take them under personal control, the governor left and then two of our women were taken to the Volga police department in order to show some kind of video recording, draw up some administrative protocols, something else. We didn’t agitate anyone, we didn’t call anyone for anything, we just want help from our governor, to attract his attention, ”said Zatsepin.

It is possible that the deceived real estate investors were detained due to the fact that when meeting the governor, they were holding pieces of paper in their hands. According to Zatsepin, it was written on the paper: "Dear Valery Vasilyevich, we ask you to take our problem under your personal control, we ask you for help."

“Nothing more, just to take control, and that we want to meet with the governor, talk about this,” Nikolai added.

Zatsepin noted that the detainees had already been released, and protocols were drawn up against them on an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organizing or holding a public event without filing a notification of its holding in the prescribed manner).

“About half an hour ago, a report on an administrative offense was drawn up against two detainees and released. As they explained, they were taken to the police for an unsanctioned rally, for which, allegedly, we had come. But it's not. We just found out that Valery Radaev (governor of the Saratov region - OVD-Info note) would come there. We tried so hard to reach him earlier, but it didn’t work out. So today we went directly to discuss our problem. There were no posters, we did not shout any slogans. Just gathered to ask for help. But here's what they did to us. In 10 days we will have a trial. We will look for lawyers,” Olga, one of the detainees, told the Vzglyad-info news agency.
