The Sakhalin Film Festival ended

The Grand Prix of the VI Sakhalin International Film Festival "End of the World", which ended on September 17 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, received the film "Alien Body" Christian Werner (Germany).

Nino Basil (Georgia), the author of the social drama "Life of Anna", the prize prize of the Honorary President of the Festival of Alla Surikova, was awarded to the film "Moon in the Twelfth House", Dry Khakim (Israel) was recognized as the best director.

For the best female role, Eka Demetradze (“The Life of Anna”) was awarded, for the best male role-Vladimir Mishukov, who played in the black comedy of Anton Biljo “Fish-Swer” (Russia-Estonia).

The jury special prize “For the convincing screen display of the image of the 70s” received the film “Akapella” Hitoshi Yazaki (Japan), the audience sympathy prudes won the movie almanes “Petersburg. Only by love ” Aksinya Gog, Natalia Nazarova, Oksana Bychkova, Natalia Kudryashova, Anna Parmas, Avdoty Smirnova and Renata Litvinova.

The VI Sakhalin International Festival "End of the World" was held from September 9 to 17. In his competitive program , 15 films from Russia, Austria, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Iran, Spain, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Croatia, Chile, Sweden, Estonia, South Korea and Japan competed in a total of 16 competitive and out -of -law programs of the festival were shown.

The jury, chaired by the director Krzyshtof Zanussi (Poland), included producer, general director of the Union of Cinematographers Yan Yuitszin (China), directors of Irakli Kvirikadze (Georgia), Isabelle Shtever (Germany) and Alexander Cott (Russia) and actress Makiko Vatanabe (Japan).
