Mark Halperin released after five days of arrest

Activist Mark Galperin , who was detained during a solitary picket, was arrested by the court for five days on charges of petty hooliganism. On September 20, an appeal hearing was held at the Moscow City Court to challenge the arrest. Halperin lost the appeal, but the term of arrest ended and the activist was released in the courtroom. As Mark Galperin said in a video interview , he feels well and intends to appeal his arrest to higher authorities.
