The ECHR awarded Grigory Grabovoi € 2.4 thousand in two years in a pre -trial detention center

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) awarded Grigory Grabovoy € 2.4 thousand (about 172 thousand rubles) compensation in two years, which he spent in the pre -trial detention center. This was reported by RAPSI.

Grabovoi, the agency reports, complained to Strasbourg on excessively long detention. In total, in the pre -trial detention center, the founder of the movement “The doctrine of universal salvation and harmonious development” spent 2 years 3 months and one day.

Grabovoi, according to the prosecutor’s office, in 2001 created a sect that was presented in 57 regions of the country, and the fund, to which part of the money was transferred to the accounts. The Healer held collective seminars, each of the participants in such a seminar cost two thousand rubles in it.

Grabovoy was charged with 11 episodes of fraud, including in connection with the "resurrection of the dead." By the decision of the Tagansky court, Moscow Grabova was sentenced in 2008 to 11 years in prison. In 2010, Grabovoi went out at parole.
