Yandex.Taxi drivers staged a new protest

In the Ramenka area, taxi drivers turned on the Yandex.Taxi app, but refused to take orders. They stood in groups of 15-20 cars. Because of this, the coefficient in the area rose to 2.0.

“In addition to 30 cars of our organization, those who did not know about the strike took part in today's action. More than 60 cars have joined,” the channel’s interlocutor said.

The day before, taxi drivers drove along Profsoyuznaya Street with emergency headlights on, about 20 more protesters gathered at the office of Timur Frunze's company. With regard to three taxi drivers, the police drew up protocols on an administrative offense under the article “violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a rally”. They face fines of up to 300,000 rubles or arrest for up to 15 days.

Earlier it became known that representatives of the capital's mayor's office intend to meet with the strikers next week and listen to their demands.
