Hackers published a fifth of the data on doped athletes

Hackers from the Fancy Bears group have published the fifth part of the archive of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), convicting athletes of doping.

The archive contains information about 41 athletes from Australia, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, Sweden and the USA. All individuals on this list have taken illicit drugs for therapeutic purposes during their careers with the permission of WADA.

Vincent Hancock is an American skeet shooter and two-time Olympic champion. Drug: salbutamol (used for bronchial asthma).

Patrick Reed is an American golfer. Drug: vyvanse (prescribed for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder - like Simone Biles)

Michelle Kasold . Sports: field hockey. Drug: methylprednisolone (a strong synthetic glucocorticoid drug, prescribed for bronchial asthma, rheumatism and other diseases).

Kelsey Kolodzejczyk . Sports: field hockey. Member of the 2016 US Olympic Team. Drug: aldderall/amphetamine (used to treat ADHD).

Galen Rupp is an American track and field athlete. Bronze medalist at the 2016 Olympic Games (marathon). Drug: methylprednisolone (a strong synthetic glucocorticoid drug, prescribed for bronchial asthma, rheumatism and other diseases).

Alisha Glass is an American volleyball player. Drug: prednisone (prescribed for various diseases: from rheumatoid arthritis to hepatitis and various forms of cancer).

Judging by the documents, the British athlete Harry Aikins-Erity (athletics) took three banned drugs at once: since 2007 - beclomethasone (anti-asthma) and since 2008 - seretide (aerosol for inhalation) and salbutamol (also used for bronchial asthma). In addition, the list includes Swiss road cyclist Fabian Cancellara , Olympic medalist in 2008 and 2016, as well as Serbian basketball player Milos Teodosic .
