Governor Vladimir Gorodetsky held a meeting of the commission for the prevention and liquidation of emergencies and ensuring fire safety of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region. Services (ODDS), bringing them in accordance with the requirement of the legislation of the Russian Federation. Viktor Orlov, the head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Service of Russia in the Novosibirsk Region, reported on the situation with the formation of ODDS in the region.

Also, during the meeting, the issue of implementing the priority areas of development of the territorial subsystem of the Unified State System for the Prevention and Extraordination of Emergencies in the field of protection of the population and the territory of the Novosibirsk Region in 2016-2017 was considered.

As noted by the participants in the meeting, over the past few years it was possible to create ODDS in 35 municipal regions and urban districts of the region. The service personnel have passed the necessary training, is actively involved in ensuring the security of the territory and population of the region.

Governor Vladimir Gorodetsky demanded as soon as possible to finish the formation of ODDS in the territory of municipalities, fully ensuring completeness, provision of premises and the necessary technical means. “It is necessary to exclude any misunderstanding of the importance of the task.
