
Amnesty International continues a series of films about activism and activists. On Thursday , September 29, 2016, the documentary “ Hai-Tex in the Underground ” will be shown. The event will be held in the Palace of Sam/A and will be accompanied by a discussion about what it means to be an activist in Russia.
“Hi-tech underground” is the film by Stephen Maining , whose heroes are two representatives of different generations of the Chinese, each of whom is engaged in the coverage of life in the country, even when they are expelled against the will from Beijing. The film tells the story of two civilian-blogger journalists who discover unknown China.
The special guest of the event is Yuri Burtsev , the coordinator of the Frontline film club in Russia-the platforms uniting documentary journalists.
