Vladimir Gundyaev signed an appeal on the complete ban on abortion in Russia. Anna Kuznetsova warmly supported him. It would not be news if we were talking about two private individuals. But Vladimir Gundyaev serves in the Moscow Patriarchate Patriarch, and Anna Kuznetsova works as an authorized person under the President of the Russian Federation on the rights of a child. That is, Gundyaev leads the religious branch of power in Russia (do not be hypocrite: there is such a branch contrary to the constitution, there is no legislative and judicial, but there is religious), and Kuznetsova presents a state in matters and childhood.
Both, of course, immediately began to lie. Kuznetsova immediately lied that "the whole civilized world has been opposed to such a phenomenon as abortion for several years." The press secretary of Gundyaeva Alexander Volkov lied that the paper signed by his boss says not about the complete ban on abortion, but only “about the withdrawal of abortion services (sorry, he wrote so-I.Ya.) from the compulsory medical insurance system”.
With the lies of the Gundyaevsky press secretary, everything is simple. The paper signed by Vladimir Gundyaev is on the official website of the Moscow Patriarchate, and just walks on the Internet. And there, after the words “we, citizens of the Russian Federation, advocate ...” follow the words “prohibition of surgical and drug termination of pregnancy”, as well as “a ban on contraceptives with an abortive effect”. Yes, indeed, there is a paragraph in circulation on the termination of material support for the production of abortions from the federal budget. But this item is a separate addition, and the requirement of the ban on abortion is spelled out clearly and clearly and does not leave the slightest doubt that we are talking about a complete and unconditional ban on abortion.
With the lies of Anna Kuznetsova, a little more complicated. Since it is unclear what she has in mind, uttering the words "the whole civilized world." The countries of the world can be divided into several groups in relation to abortion. A complete ban, which does not provide for any exceptions (as in the appeal signed by Gundyaev), exists in Nicaragua, Salvador, Chile, the Philippines and Malta. Then the gradation begins. In a number of Latin America countries, abortions are permissible only for medical reasons, in states such as India, Great Britain and Iceland, in addition to medical indications, both social and economic circumstances can serve as justification for abortion. In the USA, Canada, China, as well as in many European countries, there is a complete freedom of abortion, that is, a woman is recognized as a full right to dispose of her body and her fate.
The problem of abortion is one of the most difficult and acutely discussed in the modern world. And the “entire civilized world” has been trying to find a way out of a painful contradiction for a decade, to understand what is higher: the rights of the embryo to the life or rights of a woman to personal integrity and freedom to dispose of her own body.
There is world and domestic practice. It is impossible to refute it. The ban on abortion does not reduce their numbers, but necessarily leads to the enormous number of deaths and disabilities of women from illegal abortions, as well as the growth of detublines and abandoned children. After the ban, abortion automatically turns into an expensive paid crime, or into a self -propelled termination of pregnancy, which is extremely dangerous for a woman’s life.
After the abortion was legalized in our country in 1920, mortality from them decreased immediately from 4% to 0.28%.
In 1936, the Soviet government “went towards numerous statements by working women”, and on 06/27/1936 the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR and the CEC published a decree on the ban on abortion. And then you just need to watch statistics. Maternal mortality from abortion: 1935 (before the ban)-26%, 1940-51%, in the early 50s-more than 70%. After the cancellation of the ban in 1955, the mortality from abortion sharply went down. There are no reliable statistics on detailed, but, according to indirect data, when banning abortion, it increases sharply.
In order to bring the situation to the final absurdity, the Russian government supported the ban on the baby boxes, that is, the “windows of life”, specially equipped places in medical institutions for anonymous refusal of the child and transferring it to the care of the state.
I remember shots from the film made by opponents of abortion. There, the embryo is trying to dodge the doctor who kills him. It is very sorry for this not born. I would like to prohibit everything at once. There are heartbreaking films about alcoholics, after which there is an irresistible desire to introduce the death penalty for the production of vodka and its trade.
Alas, the world is so arranged that simple solutions, as a rule, lead to consequences, the exact opposite aspirations of the initiators of these decisions. The “dry law” turns into a growth of crime and deaths from the paired vodka and denatura. The ban on abortion is an increase in maternal mortality and homelessness. The list of stupid prohibitions and stupid laws is very long.
Both Vladimir Gundyaev and Anna Kuznetsova are church people. Are located in the bosom of the Russian Orthodox Church. Apparently, they should focus their efforts at work in this bosom and stop climbing into the bosom of those women of our country that do not intend to let them go there.
