The prosecutor demanded that 62-year-old pensioner Nikolai Yegorov be sentenced to 360 hours of compulsory labor for reposting Boris Stomakhin's open letter. As reported on the website of the international human rights group "Agora", this was reported from the Tsivilsky District Court of Chuvashia, where the debate of the parties took place on September 28, lawyer Yevgeny Gubin.
Yegorov is accused of inciting hatred and enmity on the basis of nationality - under the first part of Article 282 of the Criminal Code. According to investigators, on May 6, 2014, Yegorov posted on his page on the social network VKontakte a text by Stomakhin, previously recognized as extremist material. Egorov denies his guilt and claims that an unlimited number of people have access to his account.
