The court issued a fine of one thousand rubles for a lecture by an Islamic preacher on a social network.

On September 27, 2016, the prosecutor's office of the Irkutsk region reported that a citizen of Tajikistan, Ravshan Sullaymonov, was prosecuted under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials). By the decision of the Kirovsky District Court of Irkutsk dated September 16, 2016, he was fined a thousand rubles.

The reason for the administrative persecution of Sullaymonov was that he published on VKontakte a video with a lecture by the Islamic preacher Khalid Yasin "Aliens". It was recognized as extremist on June 18, 2012 by the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar.

Information and analytical center "Sova" considers the ban of the lecture illegal: "Yasin in it contrasts Islamic religiosity with the temptations of the modern world and Western civilization, but does not preach a violent way of resolving the conflict."
