
The University of the Committee of Civil Initiatives (KGI) published a plan for its educational program for the fall of 2016. In addition to online lectures, this year the university will present distance video courses, in particular, the course on the topic “Initiative budgeting ”. The course was launched in the framework of cooperation of the Open Budget project.
The course “Open Data in Civil Projects” will also be presented. As part of the course will be classes telling about the use of open data in civil science, public projects using open data and date-journalism, open budgets and ways to obtain data from state bodies.
The cycle of online human rights topics will continue by the performance of Daniil Lipin on the topic “How to reduce legal risks working on social networks” and Alexei Gazaryan about the practices of working with disabilities and orphans.
At the end of the year, the Winter School of the University of KGI is planned, to which the most active program participants will be invited.
