Dimitri Bruni, Manuel Crebs (Norm) / "Silver Set"

Swiss graphic designers Dimitri Bruni and Manuel Krebs take part in the international font conference "Silver Set", which takes place from September 30 to October 7 in Moscow.

“Silver of the set” is an annual international font conference, a platform for professional communication of font designers, graphic designers and calligrapists. The lecture program, creative meetings, discussions, exhibitions and workshops.

Guests of the conference from Switzerland are Dimitri Bruni and Manuel Krebs, who founded the Norm Graphic Design Studio in 1999. The studio specializes in the design and publication of books and fonts. In 2005, the studio won the first prize in the competition of the Swiss National Bank for a new series of banknotes. In 2011, Norm was awarded Grand Prix Design of the Switzerland government.

On October 2, Bruni and Krebs gave a lecture on the fonts of the Norm studio created over the past ten years. This is a corporate font for the Swiss watches of Omega CT , multilingual Swatch CT , Replica font and RIFORMA font. The authors talked about the sources and origin of fonts, the principles of their design and the creation process.
