The winners of the competition "New Children's Book" were announced

In Moscow, laureates of the New Children's Book Prize were announced, the press service of the Rosman publishing house reports. The awarding ceremony of the winners of the competition was held the day before in the Russian State Children's Library, Russian Newspaper reports.

In the VII season of the competition, work was accepted in three main nominations: “Extracurricular stories”, “Fantasy World”, “New Children's Illustration”. As RIA Novosti notes, this season a special nomination "Native Nature" was again announced.

In total, 3150 applications from more than 40 countries of the world were received for the competition. The western application came from California (USA), the eastern one from Kesu (Japan).

In each of the nominations, 10 works reached the final. Tatyana Rusakova with the work "Fairy Boris Larisovna" became the absolute winner in most nominations. She received prizes in the nominations "Open Reading Voting", "Choice of Libraries" and "Bneklass Stories".

The nomination "Bneklass stories" received 1011 works. Non -casual stories were accepted about modern schoolchildren for children from six to 10 years old. The second place in the nomination went to the work of Yuri Nikitinsky "Vovka, who saddled the bomb." The organizers called this work "a penetrating thing." Third place - at the "Chocolate Surgeon and other stories" of Anna Remez.

In the nomination "World Fantasy" the prize was received by Mila Yurina for the work "Macabr". The second place is at the Evgeny Rudashevsky Earth, the third place was received by the “worldwear. The web of the old city” Alec Volsky.

In the additional nomination "Open Reading Voting" in the "Fantasy World", the work "Feature Wind" won the Ekaterina Gorbunova, and in the "Choosing Libraries" - "Navza. The seller of the wind" Svetlana Resentina.

The best in the category "New Children's Illustration" was Inna Paporotny from Belarus ("Bath", "Koala family", "Dragon Komodo", "Snail"). The second place is Alexei Cherepanov ("Tales of Uncle Rimus", "Wind in Ivas"). Third - Vadim Butakov ("Snail", "Smart Rabbit", "Homeless Frog", "Rabbit and Rollers").

The special nomination "Home Nature" was awarded the book "Owl Wolf Bubo" Anastasia Strokina. The second place in the work "where Kikimora lives" Mikhail Pegova. Third - "In search of a boyish god" Dmitry Ishchenko.

The annual literary contest "New Children's Book" was established by Rosman Publishing House in 2009 specifically for encouraging and supporting authors writing for children in Russian.
