In Veliky Novgorod, activists who went out on a single picket on the day of Putin’s arrival are being tried

The Novgorodsky District Court is considering cases of administrative offenses by three shareholders of Public Credit, who went out on solo pickets on the day of President Vladimir Putin's visit to the Akron plant. This was reported on September 29 by VNovgorod.ru.

In particular, Vera Isaeva, a pensioner and disabled person of the second group, is accused of disobedience to a police officer under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. On July 27, several deceived depositors stood at a distance from each other with single pickets on the Syrkovskoye Highway, hoping that Putin would notice them. “We moved to the side of the road and walked along the highway to Bolshaya St. Petersburgskaya together with another picketer. At that time, the police caught up with us and rudely detained us, citing the fact that we allegedly made an unsanctioned procession. I got sick. I am a diabetic so I always carry a bottle of water with me. I asked to stop and let him take a pill. When I turned on the water, my arms were grabbed again. The water splashed out, part of it hit the policeman, ”said Isaeva. For pouring water on a pensioner, a protocol was drawn up on disobedience to a police officer. This is the second protocol for that picket near Isayeva - before that, she was fined 10,000 rubles under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the established procedure for holding a street rally).

So far, the court session against Isayeva has been postponed .
